The colors of the file may look a little off. Your file will appear with all it's layers. If you check the Show Outline box, the preview will be in outline format. If you check the Preview box, you will see a preview in the open window. Navigate to the folder that you have stored your LD svg files in.

Start with "1.", it might make more sense Clarity of an image is associated with 1) image sharpness, 2) image resolution, and also 3) intensity of illumination. I've attached five screen caps for a visual aid. Even if there are dark areas in the field, make sure it is lit so that some information, however small, gets registered in the recorded image.

If the piece doesn't need to be an exact size I can import a png, but with things such as business cards they need to be an exact size, so the svg is ideal.Īlso, sometimes the entire design is a solid white shape when an svg is imported into SCAL. The image layer usually has many sub layers. When I go to print, the print preview shows all or a few grouped shapes as solid white outlines of the shape. I place an SVG file with two layers, image and cut. I've run into this problem nearly every time I print and cut, which is the only purpose that I use the Silver Bullet.
